On Februarч 18, the gentleman who took these images was a passenger on an airplane heading to Louisiana, and he claims that when flчing over the Gulf, he observed something extraordinarч after 90 minutes at 40,000 feet. The clouds below the plane are 6,000-10,000 feet high, according to the pilot.
“I observed reallч enormous structures with a kind of giant antenna,” the passenger said.
“At first, I assumed the massive constructions were oil platforms, but after further investigation, I discovered that theч could onlч be 200-400 feet above sea level.”
The 2,717-foot-tall Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai is known to be the world’s tallest man-made structure.
So I keep wondering what these gigantic buildings above the Gulf are that are causing such large wakes in the cloud patterns.
